Privacy notice
Last updated: 4 November 2026. This notice explains how TradeVideo AI uses personal data collected through this pre-launch website, in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Who we are
TradeVideo AI is a pre-launch project run by Antony Murray, based in the United Kingdom, who is the data controller for the information described here. You can contact us about anything in this notice using the request form below.
What we collect
At this stage TradeVideo AI only runs a waitlist. We do not collect photos or payment details, and we do not fetch or analyse anyone's website on this site. When you join the waitlist we collect:
- your name and email address;
- your business name, your trade or business type, the area you cover and, if you give it, your website address;
- which price option you'd most likely buy and whether you'd pre-order;
- a record of your consent (the wording you agreed to and when);
- the country your request came from, as reported by our hosting provider (not your precise location or IP address).
Your business details may include personal data if, for example, you're a sole trader trading under your own name.
If you use the request form, we collect your email address, the type of request and your message.
To protect the forms from spam, we keep a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address for up to one hour to limit repeated submissions. We don't store your IP address itself.
Why we use it and our lawful basis
- To tell you about TradeVideo AI's early access and launch, and to understand which products and prices people want. Our lawful basis is your consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
- To respond to questions and data requests. Our lawful basis is legal obligation (for data rights requests) and legitimate interests (answering your questions).
- To keep the site secure and free of spam. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests.
We will not sell your data, we will not use it for advertising profiles, and we will not send you marketing from anyone else.
AI and your data
When TradeVideo AI launches, your website content, photos and videos will never be used to train AI models without your explicit consent. We'll only read the public pages of a website you ask us to use, we'll respect its robots.txt rules, and we'll only use photos you confirm you own or have permission to use. Before any video is made, we'll publish an updated privacy notice explaining which services process your content.
Who we share it with
Our website and waitlist database are hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., which acts as our processor. Cloudflare runs a global network, so data may be processed outside the UK. Where that happens, it is protected by Cloudflare's data processing terms, which include the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses. We don't share your data with anyone else, and no emails are sent automatically by this site.
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist details until 12 months after TradeVideo AI launches, or until you ask us to delete them or withdraw consent, whichever comes first. If we decide not to launch TradeVideo AI, we'll delete the waitlist within three months of that decision. Request-form messages are kept for up to 12 months after we've dealt with them.
Cookies
This website doesn't use advertising or analytics cookies, and it doesn't load third-party tracking scripts or web fonts.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, correct it, have it deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, receive a copy in a portable format, and withdraw your consent at any time. We'll respond within one month. Use the form below to make a request.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. We'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.
